    Verdict

    Barsanti beat MIRAGE DANCER at Ascot early last year but the latter reversed running when second at Newmarket last summer and went on to land a Group 3 contest at Goodwood. He may prove good enough on his seasonal bow with Sir Michael Stoute’s yard in such good form. Danehill Kodiac ran well over 1m6f at Chelmsford recently though hasn’t won since successful in the Cumberland Lodge at Ascot in 2017. He should still have the measure of Dalgarno and Rock Eagle on these terms unless the latter has taken a big step forward since last year.
