Verdict
Shamshon is rated higher on the all-weather and took advantage when scoring at Brighton last time. He remains on a winning mark, despite a 3lb rise, while Paddy Power can also figure dropping back down in class having won at Thirsk on his penultimate start. Zac Brown and Upavon are others allowed to race off lower marks on this surface but a speculative vote goes to ENGLISHMAN. The latter popped up at 20/1 at Windsor last May and followed that with victory in this contest racing off a 7lb higher mark than today's with both Toofi and Shamshon behind.
