        Verdict

        Takes Tutu showed his best form for some time when chasing home Sea Storm at Musselburgh last week and has to be respected off the same mark but preference is for Champain Sands, who gets the vote over Rare Coincidence. The last mentioned is gradually slipping to a fair mark and showed his time might not be long in coming when second to Ego Trip at Newcastle recently. Roger Fisher's gelding is entitled to be thereabouts again but may, once more, have to settle for a minor role. Linda Perratt saddles two, with Forest Air preferred to Skiddaw Jones. Hamilton winner Jordans Elect disappointed at Thirsk last time and of more interest may be Oscar Pepper, now that the stable of David Barron is back among the winners. The vote though goes to Champain Sands, from another in-form stable. Mark Brisbourne's gelding lost no caste in defeat at Ayr last time and, with the son of Green Desert due to go up 3lbs in future handicaps, he is taken to make the most of a favourable mark.
