    Verdict

Recognise should make the most of this opportunity with Par Indiana, Tudor Bell and Gold Card all playing for places. Mark Johnston's charge is given the nod on the form of his previous outing behind Bumptious. That rival had had pretty decent form coming into that race and it is unlikely that there is anything of that ilk here. Par Indiana ran a reasonable enough race behind another Johnston hotpot in Master Marvel. He is yet to race on this surface and is watched in the market. Tudor Bell looks the type to need further whereas connections have already taken the banded route about Gold Card. Although he is unlikely to be much of a price, Recognise gets our vote.
