    Verdict

    Shimmering Dawn won at Chelmsford when dropped back to today’s trip and should go well again for James Tate’s in-form yard. Friendly Advice scored over the minimum trip at Beverley and carries 6lb extra while Hafeet Alain drops down in class having placed at Doncaster well ahead of Constant and is also preferred to Epona. But it could pay to stick with the unbeaten SANDRET now handicapping as he defied a penalty at Redcar last time with a subsequent winner back in third and there looks more to come from Ben Haslam’s charge.
