VALOUR AND SWAGGER didn’t appear to appreciate the genuinely quick going at Epsom but two earlier efforts at Windsor and Ascot were obtained with plenty of juice in the surface and he therefore sets the standard. Scoops Ahoy is a previous winner here though his effort at York on Saturday was rather lacklustre to say the least. Ganesha is another to have struck gold here but his ability to act on today’s surface will be something of an imponderable. Indication Call has been gelded since prevailing at Ayr in May while Sayidh Kingman isn’t short of early pace and is dropped in trip.
