Verdict
SHAYLEE can land a competitive finale from China Pink and Offshore Anna. Tim Walford's operation is going from strength to strength under both codes and the Sheriff Hutton based trainer has already bettered last season's tally on the level. Shaylee showed a few signs of temperament at Ripon but that didn't stop her from winning and there should be more to come. China Pink has to be feared given the trainer's thirty eight per cent strike rate at the track but she has been firmly put in her place the last twice and may find this a shade too competitive. Jim Martin was a shock winner at Ayr in the week and will do well to repeat the feat whilst the unexposed Bollin Greta needs to improve and bigger questions could be posed by Offshore Anna and Casino Night. Both have a little to prove at this trip but John Quinn's filly is probably the stronger stayer and could give the selection the most to think about but Shaylee should have the answers.
