In depth

Verdict

Natty Night makes a quick reappearance after beating four rivals in a higher grade at Newmarket on Saturday but will be carrying a penalty. Potenza has improved for the switch to James Eustace and won over a shorter trip here last month, for which he was raised 4lb. Songkran deserves a crack at this higher level having rattled up a hat-trick last month but is likely to find DREAMWEAVER (NAP) a tough nut to crack. Ed Walker’s top weight is 2-2 here having easily landed the odds over course and distance in June and he is fancied to shrug off a 6lb rise.
