In depth

Verdict

The handicapper will soon catch up with One Off and, as he is soon to go up considerably after two wins over inadequate trips at Brighton and Wolverhampton, he is taken to exploit his current mark and land the hat-trick under his modest penalty. He has shaped as if the step up to this sort of distance will be right up his street, and Sir Mark Prescott's charge is taken to outstay Altitude Dancer, Grey Clouds and The Ring. The ground should not be a problem for One Off and is confidently expected to maintain his trainer's impeccable record with horses of this nature before the assessor finally gets to grips with him.
