In depth

Verdict

Ermine Sea has found one too good in each of his last two starts but looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account and John Gosden's colt is taken to do so at the main expense of Well Hidden and Rainbow Zest. The last mentioned is, like the selection, a son of Rainbow Quest and is bred for the game but lack of previous form may count against Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt. Follow On showed promise first time out and should improve for the run; he makes more appeal than Cresta Gold, who is proving hard to win with. Sir Michael Stoute's Well Hidden is bred to be useful and a market move for the son of Sadler's Wells would have to be of interest but Ermine Sea has the form in the book and he is taken to finally open his account.
