Verdict

The stable vibe is that Legal Approach could develop into a very nice horse and this will be a good test of whether or not he is likely to live up to expectations. Unbeaten after three starts Mark Johnston's three year old looks to have been fairly treated here and should have few problems with the soft ground. Champion Lodge could well give Legal Approach most to think about having been in good form this term and is another that should cope well with underfoot conditions. Macaw is progressive but might find the ground coming against him as might Derwent who popped up at Pontefract last time. Eastern Breeze might have failed to get his head in front of late but has done little wrong and is sure to have his supporters once again along with Nadour Al Bahr, however the latters stomach for a fight has been called into question of late.
