Verdict

Not the strongest of novice fillies events but Celestia looks to have a decent chance of maintaining her unbeaten record. The form of her Newmarket maiden win hasn't worked out particularly well though and giving away weight all round she may just struggle on the rain-softened ground. Tourmalet came undone in listed company last time but has claims on her previous good efforts but it might pay to take a chance on the well-bred newcomer Akrmina who gets all the weight allowances and wouldn't have to be a worldbeater to score on her debut. Sight Screen ran adequately on her racecourse bow at Leicester last week but may need more time before getting her head in front.
