Jeremy Glover's horses have returned to form in the last few weeks and his Red To Violet has led the revival with two solid victories. Arguably still well handicapped having had a torrid time in the first half of the season, Red To Violet should again go close on ground that suits her well. Golden Chalice is a model of consistency and is another with a solid claim being by Selkirk whose progeny love to get their toe in, whilst Tony Tie should enjoy the step back to a mile having been outspeeded over seven furlongs in his most recent outings. Barry Hills saddles Far Lane who has looked a tricky customer but will be helped by a strong pace which will almost certainly be set by Indian Plume, a horse who looks to be in the grip of the handicapper at present.
