        Verdict

        Pomfret Lad can see off Yorkshire Blue and Bo McGinty. Pomfret Lad looked a tad unlucky last week at Haydock and continues to run well in defeat. He should get a rails run here tonight and compensation for a string of decent efforts awaits. Yorkshire Blue has a chance to follow up a recent C/D success. He produced an amazing late burst of speed on that day but there is no Kieren Fallon on this occasion! Bo McGinty is another who does not find winning an easy habit to get into. Steel Blue has dropped significantly in the weights having started off 95 at the beginning of the year. Richard Whitaker's horses are in much better form of late so do not be surprised to see any market support for Steel Blue this evening. Circuit Dancer has not been firing this term while High Ridge has been beaten on a number of occasions this term by plenty of this field. Najeebon ran in a hot race at Newmarket last time out and could be dangerous at this lesser level. A fair race for a midweek meeting and one that should go to Pomfret Lad.
