      Verdict

Mondain was pretty disappointing when only third of four at Salisbury recently but it was a messy contest and it would not surprise were he to bounce back as so many stable inmates have done down the years. Billy No Mates was much better last time in a good-quality event for lady riders at York whilst Buriram needs forgiving a poor recent effort and tackles this longer trip for the first time. CALCULATION has been hit with a 9lb rise for a decisive win at Doncaster when upped to this trip for the first time but it was a strong effort to put 4.5l between himself and Rochester House, a winner since. He looks a typical Stoute slow burner and can go in again.
