Verdict
Some beautifully bred fillies in this, none more so than Lakatoi, whose dam Bireme won the Oaks. She has been a little disappointing so far and it remains to be seen whether the softer surface will bring about some improvement. Shalamantika, from the same family as Derby winner Shergar, looks the one to beat. No match for Cozy Maria over an inadequate trip at Ripon, she will be more at home over this trip. Tahini, needs to put behind her a poor effort at Newmarket, while Tawoos shaped well on her debut and will appreciate this trip.
