In depth
Verdict
Canlis has hardly done enough to suggest he is up to winning a maiden and his future looks to lie in handicaps, while stablemate Totem Pole will be suited by this step up in trip. Street Music made a satisfactory debut, in what looked a fair maiden and granted normal improvement must go close. George Romney, a good third behind Cassirer on soft ground at Leicester last backend, is taken to lose his maiden tag.
