Verdict
Amplify made a promising start when runner-up at Ascot but that was back in May and he steps up a furlong on his return. Vee Man Ten has the more recent form with a debut third at Beverley. But WISE COUNSEL was beaten a length in a tougher race than this over course and distance earlier this month and Clive Cox’ colt gets the nod on that form. Angel Alexander is a half-brother to a winner and a newcomer to keep an eye on in the betting.
