    Verdict

Astronaut won a maiden race in good style at Sandown and there should be more to come now handicapping. He’s preferred to Aloysius Lilius, who was beaten in a handicap before landing a novices race at Msuselburgh. Concierge recorded a double on fast ground in July and makes his handicap debut though Blyton ran below par last time having gone close at Chester earlier when finishing just in front of SHE CAN BOOGIE. But the latter was drawn wide on that occasion and Tom Dascombe’s filly is fancied to reverse running today given the winner of that Chester race went on to Listed success.
