Verdict
A moderate contest to get the meeting underway and although Lazim Afooz has been done no favours by the weights going up 10lbs, he may still be good enough. He stays well and will not mind the faster underfoot conditions. Still a maiden over timber, Picture Palace may provide the biggest threat. Tom George's five-year-old, a winner on the flat on fast ground, has raced mainly on unsuitable conditions at this game and he is a possible improver now that the ground is drying out. Mini Dare has shown enough to suggest a small race such as this could come his way, but recent winner Kuwait Millennium has never been one to rely on and he is easily opposable.
