Verdict

OMOKOROA was a consistent sort on the level but hasn't been able to match those efforts over hurdles so far. However, he was beaten less than four lengths by the useful Lifestyle on fast ground at Towcester last month and that makes him the one to beat here. Bumper winner Dr Flynn was favourite for a Sedgefield novice handicap on his latest start but was again outpaced and is proving difficult to place over timber. He may not have the scope of Kelso second Quel Elite, though did finish fractionally ahead of James Moffat's seven-year-old over 2m3f at Catterick in February.
