Verdict
Emperor Ross has looked an exciting prospect so far and was never off the bridle last time out when posting a victory at Perth. As a Roselier, he may not appreciate ground that is quite so quick so it will be touch and go as to whether Nicky Richards will let him take his chance. His jumping has particularly caught the eye and he remains very much one to keep on the right side of. Noel's Pride makes his chasing debut this evening and could be a useful recruit. He goes well on the surface and if his jumping is sound, he could go close. Jordan's Ridge is consistent enough but fairly well exposed. Deneises Blossom makes her debut over the larger obstacles but she has plenty to find on her hurdling efforts.
