Verdict
Westernmost has put plenty of miles on the clock of late but won cosily enough at Cartmel last time out. He has handled faster ground in the past and will be plenty short enough in the betting this evening. Beseiged has made the transfer from bumpers to hurdling with ease but will have to give three pounds away tonight. He clearly has ability on the surface but looks as if he already needs further than the minimum trip. Sunday Rain posted a victory at Hexham in April but is far from consistent and is opposed against two improving sorts.
