Verdict
COUNTRYWIDE FLAME can give Paul Hanagan's title hopes another boost with success in this division of the nursery. Kevin Ryan's juvenile gave Ree's Rascal 7lb and a beating over course and distance two starts ago, before that rival then turned the tables last time with a comfortable win in a race where our selection failed to fire at all. We have to forgive him that and he is allowed to race from the same mark here, while Jim Boyle's runner has been whacked up 10lb in the weights which does not look so attractive. At the 48-hour stage Richard Hughes was booked for three of these in Ree's Rascal, Dr Darcey and Heart Felt, so whichever he does plump for will be a tip in itself.
