An interesting little handicap can go the way of SEEK THE FAIR LAND, who is selected ahead of Lochan Mor and Devil You Know. That said Desert Icon showed plenty of promise before his juvenile campaign came to an abrupt halt at Glorious Goodwood last summer; and he one to keep tabs on when his fitness is proven. Devil You Know has a big frame to fill and, as he wasn't knocked about after missing the break at Leicester 22 days ago; he may be a touch better than that bare form would have you believe. He had previously bounded to success on fast ground at Nottingham in May, so obviously knows what to do when the pieces fit together for him. Lochan Mor is another that possesses plenty of ability and runs for a yard riding on the crest of a wave just now. Support of the mount of Jamie Spencer would not be without foundation and this Kyllachy colt is likely to be a big threat. However, Seek The Fair Land has the speed to be effective back at this trip and, as he is a more proven Kempton performer; the Jim Boyle-trained gelding gets the nod this time around.
