Verdict

MADAME SOLITAIRE, a half-sister to Skhilling Spirit, is given the vote on her handicap bow. Richard Hannon's filly has not ripped up any maidens like the majority of her stablemates, but she has shown distinct promise and a mark of 59 may underestimate her this evening. Similar comments apply to Hi Note, whilst more solid form claims are arguably held by Duquesa who sprang a surprise at Nottingham on soft ground and does have experience of this track. Cinderkamp will find this tougher than at Catterick when exceedingly well-ridden however he is going the right way and the longer trip today shouldn't worry him much. Maggie's Treasure drops in grade, but along with Misscomplacent, with Seb Sanders booked, and Venus Empress looks one to consider. Any market moves for Silbury or Lord Cornwall would add some spice, whilst a tongue-tie is applied on Juarla and his trainer has produced more than one upset here this year.
