    Verdict

While it might not do to take a short price about him PEARL ICE showed enough on debut to suggest that he can break his duck second time around. Sir Mark Prescott's colt was doing all of his best work at the finish at Lingfield when the post came a fraction too soon for him and that experience, plus this step up in trip, can see him home in front. Three Sparrows looks leading danger after a decent effort at Newbury, although this drop back to 6f is not certain to suit. Blowing Bubbles can improve on a placed run at Wolverhampton and should take a hand, while Saskia's Dream again looks vulnerable.
