    Verdict

CHANTILLY JEWEL won well last time and he can score again in this handicap at the main expense of Jolly Ranch and Avrilo. The selection beat Avrilo at Lingfield last month and on these terms we are confident that Robert Cowell's filly can uphold the form here. However, it is worth pointing out that Avrilo did not run up to her mark in that race so she may be capable of bouncing back. Jolly Ranch won a maiden at Wolverhampton at the start of the year and she lost no caste in defeat at Wolverhampton last month when she was only beaten a head by Rainy Night. Best One disappointing over 7f at Wolverhampton last time but he had won previously over this course and distance and it would be dangerous to dismiss him lightly. Spoof Master has the pick of the draw and is another to consider, but in a trappy affair the vote goes the way of Chantilly Jewel.
