COUNT OF TUSCANY looks a good bet in this maiden; the list of dangers is headed by Storming Sioux and Bowsers Beau. The selection shaped with promise in a Newmarket maiden last season and although she was a little disappointing at the same venue on her seasonal reappearance, she showed that she probably needed the run that day by going close at Goodwood behind Tahkeem. There is a slight worry over her ability to see out this trip, but if she gets home then she should be good enough to get her head in front. Storming Sioux showed improved form here last time out but she is another who has to prove that this is her trip. She shapes as though it should suit and there might be more to come from her. Bowsers Beau ran well over a mile here last time and he is bred to appreciate this longer distance. Holden Eagle has place prospects but he has had plenty of chances to open his account without being able to take one. Cayman Sky disappointed last time but he will definitely see out this trip and he could go well at a price. Another tricky race to fathom and the vote goes to the unexposed Count Of Tuscany.
