Another tough race and from shortlist of HULCOTE ROSE, Akamon and Alinghi we will side with Hulcote Rose. There is not much public form to go on here, but of those with racecourse experience Hulcote Rose sets the standard. She was only narrowly beaten here last time out by Cloud's End when she was well supported in the market. She has a reasonable draw and she looks to have been found a good opportunity to open her account. Akamon hails from the Ed Dunlop yard and this newcomer is reasonably well bred and the yard are in decent form. Alinghi is another newcomer worth consideration but Richard Hannon is having a quiet spell and she may be best watched unless the market speaks strongly in her favour. Picnic Party shaped with plenty of promise on her debut and she won't need to improve much to take a hand in the finish. The market may well provide the clues here but the vote goes to Hulcote Rose.
