Verdict
Saeed Bin Suroor continues in good form and it is hard to see past GOLDEN SHAHEEN in this maiden; Ocean Club and Tartan Trip head the list of alternatives. The form of Godolphin is a massive plus for our choice and this colt is back in realistic company after being outclassed at Newmarket last time. However, he had shown enough previously to suggest that his turn would not be far away and although the draw is far from ideal, he still sets the standard for the others. Ocean Club is a well bred newcomer from the Barry Hills yard and he has to be on the shortlist. The yard have done reasonably well with their juveniles this season and it would not be a surprise if Ocean Club troubled the judge on his debut. Tartan Trip progressed from his first to second run when he finished a close fourth behind Swiss Cross at Newmarket earlier in the month and if he can go on from that he would have a big chance. Warning Song has had a few chances now without being able to take one, while the Sir Mark Prescott-trained newcomer Harris Tweed is worth a market check on his debut. There are plenty in with chances and for the pick we will nominate Golden Shaheen
