    Verdict

RESPLENDENT ACE gets the narrow vote in this handicap over Hits Only Cash and Randama Bay. The selection arrives here in good form and he was only narrowly beaten last time at Wolverhampton over 1m1f. This longer trip will suit today and off his current mark he should be capable of running a big race. In contrast, Randama Bay is dropped in distance after an encouraging run at Haydock last time when he chased home No Wonga. He hasn't won for over a year but that effort last time was his most encouraging for some time and on that basis he has to be respected. Hits Only Cash chased home our selection last time but he is unproven over this longer trip and on that basis we will take him on. Dinner Date has won over the course and distance and the form of his recent third behind Baltimore Jack has since been franked so he has to be considered. An open event and the vote goes to Resplendent Ace.
