In depth

Verdict

A competitive finale in which BILBERRY can prevail over the likes of Equinine and Capone. Stuart Williams is in good form at present and his course and distance winner Bilberry makes plenty of appeal here. He went close at Folkestone last time when he chased home Sham Sheer and from a good draw he can go one better today. The Barry Hills-trained Equinine is another who has the benefit of a good high draw and she was a good second behind Mutamared last time. If Mutamared runs well in the previous race then that would give the form a boost. Capone is having only his second start on the all-weather and although he was denied in his bid to complete a hat-trick last time, he did not do a lot wrong that day and he may be capable of bouncing back tonight. His high draw is also a positive. Quiquillo will need some luck to score from the outside draw, while Support Fund shaped with a bit more encouragement last time. There are plenty in with chances and the vote goes to Bilberry.
