    Verdict

Auburn Place is nicely bred and therefore an interesting newcomer here, although pedigree suggests that she will be better at three, and we prefer the claims of DONNA ELVIRA, while Anaya and Inner Angel are also of interest. The selection made a very pleasing debut, when runner-up in a Salisbury maiden earlier in the month, over this trip. She has to prove that she handles this quicker surface, but there is no reason why she shouldn't, while a mile should be fine for now, so we hope she can confirm that promise. Anaya makes her fifth start for trainer Mick Channon, and has been going the right way slowly. She may not have been entirely at home on the ground at Haydock last time and this faster Polytrack surface could see her go close. Inner Angel is by Motivator out of a Nashwan mare so this looks a good starting point for her in terms of trip. We won't know about her ability to handle the track or surface until it is too late from a betting perspective and she is probably best watched for today. Ermyntrude handled the Polytrack well enough at Lingfield and will probably appreciate the return to it tonight, so she can improve, while we will also hope to see more from Perfect Vision. Donna Elvira is the pick.
