    Verdict

Swiper Hill is a tentative selection, with Forbidden, Jomus and Viable others for the shortlist. Viable has been successful under both codes lately and can be expected to again run his race. However, this is his artificial surface debut and his ability to handle the task has to be taken on trust. Jomus, on the other hand, has plenty of experience of this track and, as a consistent type, he too makes appeal for a place in this company. Forbidden ran his best race to date when second here earlier in the month and would be a big threat if he can build on that performance. That was a bolt from the blue considering his previous Irish form, so it may be best to gauge the betting where he is concerned. Therefore, we prefer to go with Swiper Hill, who is unexposed at the distance and, as he has little to find on the best of his old form, he can be expected to be on the premises if his stamina holds out.
