SITWELL looks capable of further progress now that connections have found his trip; he may have most to fear from Fantino and Princess Flame. James Fanshawe's charge struggled in his first four starts but there were signs of promise on his penultimate outing and they were confirmed when he landed a gamble over a similar trip at Folkestone. The front two pulled nicely clear of the field to give the form a solid look and he's escaped with a 4lb rise. Fantino benefited from being stepped up in trip when beating all bar the in-form Lord Theo at Newmarket last time suggesting that there was more to come. He was well backed suggesting that the run was not unexpected and he should make a bold bid for compensation. Princess Flame has slipped back to a nice mark and has run well at this track so she, too, merits respect having found some form of late whilst Brave Mave faces lesser opposition than she encountered at Newmarket. Sheila's Castle failed to win during four starts in bumpers but opened her account at the first time of asking on the level and couldn't be ruled out but this opposition is stronger and preference is for Sitwell.
