Verdict
Despite taking on last year's winner Magical in her own back yard, GHAIYYATH is impossible to oppose after his brilliant exploits in the Coronation Cup, the Eclipse and the Juddmonte. The Godolphin colt looked better than ever when beating six-times Group 1 winner Magical 3 lengths at York and this looks the perfect track and trip for him. Ryan Moore is on board Japan, who was over 2 lengths behind in the Eclipse and was found to have a stone bruise after finishing a long way last behind Enable in the King George at Ascot. Last year's French Derby winner and Arc third Sottsass has tasted Group 1 success this season and any further rain would be in his favour.
