In depth
Verdict
Despite his form figures indicating he may not be the most genuine horse in a finish, Indian Blaze has shown enough of late for his turn to have finally come around and he is gets the nod over Cumbrian Princess and Eight Ellington. The selection needs to be delivered late on the scene and will no doubt keep his supporters on the edge of their seats. However, he is holding his form well and, with his trainer searching for winners before handing in his training licence, expectations on him will be high. Cumbrian Princess is closely matched with Andrew Reid's charge on bits of her form. However, she rarely runs two races the same and her real going days are hard to predict. Eight Ellington is usually consistent at this level but ran a shocker last time and now has a little to prove. Therefore, we prefer to stick with Indian Blaze as we know what to expect if, as is anticipated, he runs his usual race.
