In depth
Verdict
Shirley Oakes, Shifty Night and Forzenuff look the three to concentrate on in another tough race for punters to call and the tentative vote goes to the last named. The selection was a fair second behind Hiamovi last time out doing all his best work at the finish. He will appreciate this longer trip and, from what looks a good draw, he will be hard to beat. Shirley Oakes rates the main danger, as she won well last time out when defeating Beamsley Beacon. But her best form has been at Wolverhampton and her efforts at Lingfield leaves her with a little to find. She is opposable for that reason. Shifty Night also won well last time out when defeating Donegal Shore but this looks tougher and she has more to do off this higher mark. Redoutable has the ability to win this but has two ways of running so he can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Teyaar is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but, for the winner, we return to Forzenuff.
