Verdict
Houdini Bay gets the confident vote with Yeldham Lady and Sherbourne rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when defeating Sherbourne and, although that rival is better off at the weights, he won with a little in hand and, with the step up in trip sure to suit, he will be hard to beat. Sherbourne is sure to have his supporters as he is likely to have come on for his last run. He will not be far away. Yeldham Lady is another worthy of respect on her latest third in the same race but she is far from consistent so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Granary Girl is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but her overall form leaves her with plenty to find. This is a desperate affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Houdini Bay in the hope that the blinkers work for a second time.
