In depth

Verdict

This looks wide-open but BALATA BAY had a subsequent winner back in fourth when scoring over today’s trip at Kempton last month and should be in the mix once again. Oloroso also won at Kempton earlier but was raised 8lb and finished behind runner-up Azor Ahai at Beverley last time. Sheila's Showcase drops in class with a recent outing under her belt and is preferred to Wolverhampton third Nubough while Al Mureib needs to find a bit more this year but may do so and the less exposed Wiretap makes his handicap debut having been gelded since last in action.
