    Verdict

A tight betting heat and this is virtually a re-run of a race that took place over course and distance last week when On Point had three of today's rivals behind. Sir Mark Prescott's charge has early pace to burn and overcame a high draw to make all from Arabian Knight in second with the hard pulling Blessed Place and the one-paced Park Star filling the minor placings. Despite a 6lb penalty, On Point will once again prove hard to peg back from a plum draw on the inside rail but Arabian Knight looked unlucky last time and is taken to reverse the form. Alan Berry's charge met trouble in running and was forced to the back of the field before coming with a storming late run which saw him denied by a half-length at the line. With better luck in running, the son of Fayruz should come out on top on this occasion.
