Verdict
Karl Burke's Its Ecco Boy had both the Brooke Sanders-trained Superchief and John Bridger's Border Edge behind when chasing home Easter Ogil over course and distance last week and should have their measure again under identical terms. Racing off a lightweight 8st 5lb, the son of Clantime warrants respect although a draw in stall nine tempers enthusiasm. Topweight Choto Mate found only Moayed too good over a mile here last time and should again be thereabouts, as should Clive Brittain's Petrus who finished fourth in that race. However, both have poor strike rates and cannot be backed with confidence and it might be worth taking a chance with Yalla Lara who finished 11th of the 12 runners in that race. Andrew Balding's filly seemed not to stay the trip in that contest having won well over seven furlongs previously. Kieren Fallon takes over from Leanne Masterton today and, off just a 3lb higher mark than for his course and distance win, he is worth another chance. Another Glimpse has been running with credit all winter and deserves to win a race of this nature but is creeping up the weights and may again find at least one too good.
