        Verdict

        Mambazo, George The Second and Calypso King are the three to take against the field here, with preference for Mambazo, who is in prolific form just now. Four of George The Second's five wins have come here, but he is a little inconsistent, and with a penalty for his latest success to shoulder, he is taken on. Calypso King ended a winless run of almost two years when scoring here last time, and it may be stretching the laws of probability to expect another win here. Mambazo has won three of his last four starts, with his only defeat coming when he was forced to race wide, but still managed to finish third. The only downside is that those wins have come over six furlongs, although he has won here over the minimum trip. He is clearly progressing, and that is not a word you would associate with the vast majority of the opposition here. Mambazo can continue on winning ways.
