Quick Sands is preferred to Milanollo and Pampas in a competitive contest to open the card. The selection has shown plenty of promise on each of her three runs to date and with the return to this faster surface in her favour she is taken to get her head in front at the fourth attempt. The fact that her yard are in sparkling form is another big plus. Milanollo is feared as the principle danger as she is a well-bred filly from a top yard and she will not have to be anything special to make her mark in this company. Pampas showed signs of ability on her debut when fifth behind Dixey but she will have to step-up on that effort if she is land this prize. Step Softly is Richard Hannon's other runner in this contest and this newcomer is worth a look in the market, but we prefer the claims of stablemate Quick Sands who can sink her rivals.
