In depth
Verdict
With Nick Gifford's string in good form at present, Yufo has to be respected on his debut but Schumann showed great promise first time out and is taken to open his account with the main danger looking to be Supreme Copper. The last mentioned is a son of Supreme Leader, trained by Emma Lavelle, who has her string in good order and would not need to be out of the ordinary to take a hand. Noel Chance's Accumulus was well held on his debut but maybe better than he showed at Uttoxeter, while Crafty Lady has shown ability in all three starts and should be thereabouts again. Moonshine Gap may do better on this surface but a safer bet looks to be Schumann, who has a likely pedigree, ran promisingly on his debut and hails from a stable bang in form.
