Verdict
Snowy Ford has a fitness advantage over most of his rivals and is taken to defy a 5lb rise for his Fontwell success and score at the main expense of Tommy Carson and Jones's Road. The last mentioned represents top connections but most of Jonjo O'Neill's horses have needed their first run of the season so he may be best watched at present. Tom George's Bee An Bee has claims on the pick of his form but remains a shade high in the weights, while Jaoka du Gord is entitled to need the run but would be of interest if the market spoke in his favour. There should be no fitness doubts concerning recent Plumpton scorer Tommy Carson but he lacks the scope for improvement that Snowy Ford has and Nick Gifford's gelding looks the one to be on.
