Verdict

J R Stevenson will not find much easier opportunities and gets the vote here ahead of Tricky Venture and Tyneham. Gay Kelleway's eight-yearold drops into a seller for the first time today, quite a come down from his past efforts in decent handicaps. He has obviously regressed over the years but recent efforts in claiming company give him every chance against this opposition. Tyneham was behind the selection last time and is an fact a lot worse off at the wights, however he should still be capable of vying for a place. A bigger threat however may come from Tricky Venture who has been knocking on the door recently. Paul Blockley's gelding did especially well when chasing home the in form Zalkani over course and distance last time and looks set to go close again. Esperance looks best of the remainder, but this race looks at the mercy of J R Stevenson who is a confident choice
