    In depth

    Verdict

BRUNDTLAND is 5lb higher than stable companion Ispolini on official ratings and, as he's already won twice at Group 2 level in France, he should have the class to outstay these. He hasn't run since a close fourth in the Prix Royal Oak at Chantilly in October and his stablemate has the benefit of winning a tough Carnival handicap three weeks ago so there may not be much between the pair. The latter had Bin Battuta one and a half lengths behind off levels at the first Carnival fixture so should confirm the form on better terms. Red Galileo hardly ever wins and was well beaten in this last year while the remaining trio have plenty to find.
