        Verdict

        Godolphin's On The Warpath has won twice at Southwell and remains on a fair mark despite two very good runs in strong handicaps over a mile last month. William Buick would have had the choice and he was on board when stable companion Mubtasim scored over the track and trip three weeks ago. Lansky was a bit disappointing in that latter event having finished a close third in a Group 2 on his debut on the track. Above N Beyond led at this trip but failed to hold the late surge of Major Partnership over a mile last week. However, the real eye-catcher in the race was BEDOUIN'S STORY (NAP), who once again got left hopelessly at the start but finished like the proverbial train. Kevin Stott will be his eighth rider in as many starts and if he can get his mount away on something resembling level terms the partnership can gain their reward. Dream Today should be suited by stepping up in trip and can get into contention.
